City Boy, thelondonpaper's brilliant undercover columnist, reveals his identity for the first time

At last, City Boy, the sharpest pen in London's Square Mile, reveals his true identity!

Our fabulous columnist City Boy has been the scourge of the City's biggest institutions since thelondonpaper launched almost two years ago.

The man with no name has fearlessly brought you the brutally honest inside track on how the wheels of the Square Mile's money machine really go around.

The deals, the boozing, the back-slapping, the sex, the drugs, the jaw-dropping pay-packets, the sex, the parties, the bungling, the sex - no City sacred cow has been spared City Boy's laser-guided bile.

And now we can finally tell you who he is.

City Boy is 35-year-old stockbroker, Cambridge graduate and all round good bloke Geraint Anderson.

The man who has been simultaneously scandalising and splitting the sides of the City every week for 22 months is a joint team leader at international investment bankers Dresdner Kleinwort.

Working completely undercover, Geraint has been able to bring you hilarious real-life tales of all-too-human cock-ups and greed that the City's biggest wheels would rather you didn't read.

And unsurprisingly he has picked up armies of both fans and detractors in roughly equal measure.

Our man receives sacks and inboxes full of mail and email every week, ranging from marriage proposals to death threats.

And through it all he has remained focused, fearless, incisive and, above all, very, very funny!

Every week thelondonpaper and the londonpaper.com are flooded with inquiries (often from some of the biggest names in the financial world) demanding to know the identity of the man behind the silhouette.

And, of course, we have never revealed his name. Until today!
